Starting Orion
Before switching the appliance
on, check that the Orion humidifier is
unplugged.
Important note: Never transport the
appliance when it is filled with water
and when the upper part (2) is placed.
Possible water projections could
damage the electronic system.
1. Fill the lower part of the Orion
air humidifier with water.
2. Place the humidifier at the
desired location.
3. Install
the
evaporation
cartridges in the space provided.
4. Replace the upper part of
the appliance on the lower part.
5. Plug the power cord.
6. Switch Orion on with the
On/Off button and choose the
operation modes.

• Electronic hygrostat:
Select the desired hygrometry
rate with the (8) button. You can
choose the humidity percentage
(40, 45, 50 and 55) by lightening the
corresponding LED. Light the 5 LED to
start the continuous mode.
• Speed:
With the (7) button, you can choose
between 2 speed levels to speed up
the humidification power.
• Aromatherapy:
If needed, add 3 to 10 drops of
essential oils in the aromatherapy
drawer (5). The scent is optimally
diffused in the room. Essential oils
should not be directly added in the
water of the tank.
Caution: The appliance will not start
if the hygrostat is adjusted on a too
low value compared to the relative
humidity of the room.

• Never submerge the appliance
in water (risk of short-circuit).
Only use a wet cloth and dry it
carefully.

Descale the humidifier at least
once a week according to the
water hardness: first remove the
upper part, and descale the base
with a standard descaling agent
and rinse correctly.

Change the filter cartridges (10)
every 2 to 3 months.

Remarks about the functioning of an
evaporator:
How does the evaporator work?
Evaporator systems humidify the
air and clean it by removing dust
particles and pollen. These products
generate a very efficient humidifying
effect in a natural way: the built-in
fan sucks dry air through waterlogged
antibacterial filter cartridges. The
ambient air only absorbs the humidity
it needs to be naturally enriched.
Excessive humidity is therefore not
possible. These systems are extremely
