5 - PROBLEMS, POSSIBLE CAUSES AND SOLUTIONS
TROUBLE-SHOOTING CHART
PROBLEMS
POSSIBLE CAUSES
SOLUTIONS
The device does not
work.
- The plug is not inserted in the socket.
- The switch (4) is in position 0 (OFF).
- The fuse has blown.
- The thermostat has cut in.
- Insert the plug in the socket and press position I (ON) on
the switch (4).
- Press position I (ON) on the switch (4).
- Replace the fuse (see 4.1).
- Clear the air vents.
The nebuliser does not
generate a spray.
- The device is switched off.
- There is no liquid in the nebuliser.
- Too much liquid has been poured into the
nebuliser.
- The nebuliser has not been assembled
correctly.
- The air outlet (12) in the base is blocked.
- The air tube (22) is not connected
securely.
- Switch on the device.
- Pour liquid into the nebuliser.
- Reduce the quantity of liquid in the nebuliser to below
the maximum level.
- Check that the atomiser (11) is properly inserted in the
base of the nebuliser (12).
Screw the upper section (10) onto the base and check
that air comes out of the little hole at the top of the
base.
- Unblock the hole.
- Connect the tube (22) securely to the air intake on the
device (8) and the one on the nebuliser.
Drug does not reach the
mouth or there is difficulty
exhaling (problem due to
the spacer mask)
- The spacer mask (13, 14) has not been
assembled correctly.
- The valve (Fig. D) has jammed.
- Reassemble the mask (13, 14) correctly.
- Release the valve.
The Rinowash does not
deliver a spray.
- The device is switched off.
- There is no liquid in the tank.
- The air tube (22) is not connected securely
or the Rinowash has not been assembled
correctly.
- Switch on the device.
- Pour liquid into the tank.
- Connect the tube (22) securely to the air intake on the
device (8) and the one on the Rinowash (17). Rotate the
atomiser (20) slightly. Make sure all the parts have been
assembled correctly.
Liquid leaks from the
base of the bell
- The outer bell (21) has not been fitted on
properly and the seal does not hold.
- Fit on the outer bell (21) correctly, turning slightly. Make
sure the whole seal is covered.
If you have failed to solve the problem after performing the above checks and the device still does not work, have it checked by an
authorized service centre.
