REMOvAL OF MINERAL DEPOSITS
ENvIRONMENT FRIENDLY DISPOSAL
Your kettle should be periodically descaled as the mineral deposits in tap
water may form scale at the bottom of the Kettle interior to cause it to
operate less effi ciently. You can use the commercially available descale and
follow the instructions on the package of descale. Alternatively, you may
follow the below instructions and use white vinegar.
1. Add 3 cups of white vinegar, then adding water to the maximum
level and leave the Kettle overnight.
2. In the morning, discard the mixture in the in the Kettle, then
fi lling the kettle with clean water, boiling and then discard the water.
Repeat several times until the odour of vinegar has been fl ushed
away. Any stains remaining inside the spout can be removed by
rubbing with a damp cloth.
