5. BEFORE OPERATING
Before using the nailer/stapler you should ensure that
•
The trigger works
•
The nail type is suitable for the work piece
•
The right compressed air level and the purity of the air
•
That the work piece does not move
•
The working area is well organized in order to avoid reaching when nailing.
•
The personal safety equipment is sufficient and in good condition.
6. USING THE STAPLER
•
Adjust the pressure to the minimum recommended level.
•
Remove the machine from the pneumatic network.
•
Add nails to the machine by following the loading instructions.
•
Connect the pneumatic hose to the stapler. Make sure that the operating switch is
not pressed when connecting the machine to the pneumatic network.
•
Test the stapler to wood in order to check if the nail reaches the right depth. If the
nail goes too deep/through the wood, adjust the air pressure. Do not exceed the
advised maximum pressure.
•
Mark the nailing area beforehand and make sure that the nailing area is clean. Also
make sure that there are no cables, wires or pipes in the nailing area.
•
Support the work piece on its place to the base.
NOTE!
•
Do not try to use the nailer/stapler if the nail holder is empty.
•
Always remove the machine from the pneumatic network during breaks and after
use.
If you have doubts about the machine use, please contact the dealer or experienced
technician.
NOTE!
•
The nailer/stapler might kick back if the nail hits a hard material.
•
The nail might change its direction when hitting a hard material, such as a branch,
piece of steel of another nail.
•
Always hold the stapler firmly and push the machine against the work piece.
