2.4 Drive Bays 

 

2.4.1 Installing or Replacing 2.5” Hot-swap SAS/SATA HDD 

 

1.

 

Release a drive tray by pressing the unlock button and pinching the lock 
lever slightly and pulling out the drive tray. 

2.

 

Firmly hold the tray lever and pull the drive out of the bay. 

 

3.

 

Place the 2.5” HDD on the tray and then secure it with four screws on the 
bottom. 

 

4.

 

Insert the drive carrier into its bay. Push the tray lever until it clicks. Make sure 
the drive tray is correctly secured in place when its front edge aligns with the 
bay edge. 

 

5.   Repeat steps 1 to 4 to install the rest of HDD.
