Turn off your Storage Server Barebone and disconnect the power supply.

1.  Remove PCI Bracket Slot Cover. SEE 

2.9 Removing and Installing a 

PCIe Card

2.  Take the RJ45 module insert the either one slot onto the chassis.

3.  Be sure the RJ45 module insert to chassis properly.
