NOTICE
Material and property damage due to deviations
(voltage, frequency) in the operator’s electrical
network that are not permitted by AHT.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage to the
operator’s electrical equipment or any resulting
damage.
Material damage due to faulty electrical connec-
tion.
Load breakers or device shut-downs are not per-
mitted.
Appliance connection
The appliance is connected using a mains plug
(see
→ chapter 3.2 Technical data and 9 commissioning).
The connection cable is located at the top of the unit

Every electrical connection must be sufficiently fused.

Faulty/insufficient fuse protection.
Contact with live parts may result in electric
shock. Fire hazard due to sparking or over-
load.
Ensure adequate fuse protection.
Observe applicable local regulations,
e.g. for electrical installation and opera-
tion of the appliances.
Observe applicable standards and safety
instructions.
Never
operate the appliance
without
a
circuit breaker.
Never
operate the appliance
without
a
residual current device.
Never connect more than 1 unit to an
electrical protection.

Commissioning

WARNING
Damage to the electrical system and/or
the refrigerant circuit.
Contact with live parts may result in electric
shock. Flammable refrigerant can escape
and cause an explosive gas/air mixture.
Fire hazard due to sparking or overload.
Do not operate a damaged unit.
Do not connect any damaged parts to
the power supply, e.g. connecting ca-
bles.
Only qualified staff may replace dam-
aged parts, e.g. connecting cables.
Observe safety notices and warnings for
appliances with flammable refrigerants
(se
e → chapter 2.5.2).
In the event of damage to the appliance,
promptly contact the maintenance ser-
vice
(se
e →chapter 11.3).
NOTICE
Property damage due to incorrect ambient con-
ditions
Adjust the appliance to match the ambient tem-
perature prior commissioning.
The ambient temperature must not be less than
16 °C (60.8 °F).
Commissioning the unit
Insert the mains plug from the connecting cable
(se
e → Electrical connection).
The appliance will start up after a short delay of ap-
prox. 60 seconds.
10 Operation (use)
Only trained operating staff are allowed to operate the
unit.

If the appliance is damaged or the fuse
is tripped:
1. Disconnect the unit.
2. Secure the unit against reconnection.
