Test System Installation  

Chapter 2

Note

The power cord and wall outlet connector selected must conform to the 
requirements of the country where the system will be installed.All electrical 
connections must be done by a qualified electrician

4. Determine the power plug type needed and, if necessary, the power 

cord needed. Make the appropriate connections between the cord and 
wall outlet connector and the Power Connector.

5. Set the power switch on the top front of the rack to the off position. 

Connect the power cord to the Filtered Power Strip located in the 

Figure 2-3. Unterminated Power Cord (not supplied with all systems)

Power Cord Wire Colors:

Blue = Neutral

Brown - Line 

Green/Yellow = Ground

Strain Relief

Typical Power Plug
(not supplied)
