5. When prompted, enter a network user with rights to add
machines to the domain.
6. Restart the AIC when prompted.
7. Login after restart as Administrator using admin as password
(all lowercase).
Step 5. Add domain user to the AIC local Administrators group
Since users will not be logging on the AIC to perform everyday
tasks, the AIC needs a domain account with access to the
enterprise path.
1. Click Start and then right-click My Computer . Click Manage.
2. On the console tree, click System Tools followed by Local
Users and Groups and then click Groups.
3. Double-click Administrators . The Administrators Properties
dialog opens.
4. Type the name of the domain and then click Add . Click OK
5. When prompted, enter the network credentials for user with
rights to verify users on the domain. Click
OK followed by OK .
Step 6. Run DCOMServerSettings
This program is used to provide a context for the AIC to
communicate with the domain and the Enterprise.
1. Select Start and then click Run .
2. Type “c:\EZChrom Elite\DCOMServerSettings.EXE” (include
the quotation marks) and click ENTER .
3. Make the following entries:
Select Auto Logon for the Run As selection
Enter the username and password of the network user that was
added to the local Administrators in the section “Add a Domain
