Agilent 5500 Series FTIR Operation Manual
Optimum transmission pathlength is one important consideration
when using the TumblIR for a range of liquid sample types. Because
the TumblIR pathlength is pre-aligned and fixed at 100 microns, some
sample types may not give optimum results, such as high IR
absorbing materials.

Close the device by rotating the arm clockwise until it clicks into
place (see Figure 5).

Click the
NEXT
button on the software screen to proceed with
the analysis.

After completing the sample measurement, immediately clean the
sample from the accessory using the instructions provided above.
It is important to make sure both the top and bottom windows
are free of any residue from the previous sample.
