Replacing Assemblies

 

To remove and replace the touch-screen/display assembly

Perform previous procedures:

Pull the touch- screen and LCD cables through the slots in 
the LCD bracket.

Gently pry the touch screen from the LCD display. It is 
held  on  with  double- sided  tape.

4

Using a Torx T10 screwdriver, remove the 4 screws 
securing the LCD display to the LCD bracket.

C A U T I O N

Handle the touch screen and LCD display by the edges only. If 
necessary, clean with alcohol and a lint-free wipe or remove any 
airborne contamination with ionized air.
