3.6. Winch Handle Assembly

Important

Winch handle must be assembled as per instructions. Failure to do so will result in sudden winch failure
causing damage to equipment and/or personal injury.

1. Slide handle over flat sides of input shaft.

2. Fasten with 1/2" - 13 Hex. locknut (see

Figure 21

).

Note

Do not remove or loosen the double locknut on input shaft as they are an important part of the
brake system of the winch.
