This display appears when a primary
and a secondary internal number are
assigned to the ST 30 AM and you se-
lected the AM configuration setting
“Separate” (

).
This display appears when only one in-
ternal number is assigned to the ST 30
AM. No AM configuration setting is
needed.
Note: The internal numbers for each
port are preset in your system’s TK Set
configuration program on your PC.
Configuring the AM
If you have assigned a primary and secondary
internal number to your ST 30 subscriber port,
you can set up a separate answering machine
for each internal number with separate greet-
ing and information texts, or configure one an-
swering machine for both internal numbers.
Example: internal numbers 14 and 24

Configure
“1”: Separate (for internal numbers 14
and 24)
“2”: Both (for internal numbers 14 and
24 together)
Example:
You have assigned a primary and a secondary
internal number to your ST 30. You have pro-
grammed your system so that incoming pri-
vate calls are signalled to your primary inter-
nal number and business calls to your second-
ary internal number. You can then set up a
separate answering machine for each line.
If you only want the answering machine to take
calls for internal number 14, program “Sepa-
rate” and activate the answering machine only
for internal number 14.
