Prepare your camera for use
Lithium ba � ery installa � on
First install the lithium ba � ery supplied with the camera according to the following instruc � ons so that it can operate.
1. Slide the ba � ery cover below the camera to open the ba � ery compartment:
2. Insert the lithium ba � ery in the correct polarity direc � on.
3. Then close the ba � ery cover and slide it to lock it in place.
4. Once the camera is on, a ba � ery icon will show up at the bo � om right of the LCD screen.

Note:
- A "low ba � ery" warning will show up on the screen when the ba � ery charge is insu ffi cient. Shortly therea � er your camera
will power o ff .
- Please remove the ba � ery if you are not going to use the camera for a while in order to extend its life �m e.
Lithium ba � ery charging
To recharge the lithium ba � ery, simply connect the camera (without removing the ba � ery) to your computer using the USB
cable provided in the box. The red LED on the back of the camera will light up to indicate that the ba � ery is being charged, and
will turn o ff when fully charged. You can also charge the lithium ba � ery by connec � ng the camera to AC power if you have an
adapter to which you can connect the USB cable.
SD memory card installa � on
This camera supports SD memory card up to 32 GB. It is necessary to insert a SD card into the camera before using it to extend
its storage capacity. To remove the card, simply press it fi rmly and the card will eject itself from the slot.
