OPTIONS
DEPTH CONTROL SYSTEM
The DCS 3000 Depth Control System allows
automatic or manual depth control (Fig. 40) of towed
implements. An operator’s and installation instruction
manual is included with the system bundle.
POINTS for STANDARD SHANKS
Two types of points are available for the standard
shanks (Fig. 41):
- Straight points for minimum residue disturbance
- Twisted points for incorporating some residue
Note: Install an equal number of right and left
twisted points. See Basic Setup Assembly

POINTS for DEEP-TILL SHANKS
Two points and shank wear strip combinations are
available (Fig. 42):
- Flow points and beveled wear strips for minimum
residue disturbance.
- Flat points with flat wear strips for incorporating
some residue.
REAR BAR SHANK EXTENSIONS
Extensions (Fig. 43) move standard or deep-till
shanks on the rear bar 10" rearward for improving
material flow in high-residue conditions.
