Section 7

Install the Anchor

Install The Anchor

When you receive your Ag-

Bagger

®

 the anchor and cable

will already be installed. This
procedure should be used if it
becomes necessary to install
new anchor cables.

1. Assure the Anchor Float
Switch is in the OFF position.
(Switch #9 on the Arm Rest
Controls in this manual).

2. Press the bottom of switch
#10 on the Arm Rest Controls
and with help from another per-
son pull enough cable out to al-
low for the attachment of the
anchor to the cable.

3. Slide cable end through an-
chor, anchor plug, and quick
knob inserting the brass wire
separators into the cable.

4. Pull anchor back onto the
quick knob until secure.

5. Press the top of switch #10
to retract the cable and pull the
anchor tight against the anchor
socket and is resting on the an-
chor support. The anchors
should be in this position prior
to installing the Ag-Bag

®

 bag.

Serious injury may occur. Always
wear protective gloves while han-
dling wire rope cable.
