Stopping the unit

Stopping the engine

Before stopping the engine after operating under heavy
load, run the engine at low idle speed for

3 - 5 min

. This

allows the engine and turbocharger temperature to de-
crease gradually.
Restart the engine immediately if the engine stops when
operating under load.

This will prevent heat build up

caused by stoppage of oil flow used for cooling and
lubrication.

Stopping the engine:

Allow the engine to cool by running at low idle.
Turn the ignition key to the OFF position. Remove the key
from the ignition.
