Troubleshooting
Any malfunctions that cannot be removed by means of the measures
described in this chapter may only be repaired by the manufacturer or by
qualified persons.
Problem

No wireless signal
The wireless mounting
base ASD 20 is not
charged
Place the wireless
mounting base ASD 20
into the sun for approxi-
mately 10 minutes.
Insert a battery
(optional) into the wire-
less mounting base
ASD 20.
The wireless mounting
base ASD 20 has not
been properly con-
nected to the AFRISO-
home gateway
Reconnect the wireless
mounting basewireless
mounting base ASD 20
to the AFRISOhome
Gateway (see chapter
"Connecting the product

gateway").
Environment of the wire-
less mounting base
ASD 20 has changed
(interference)
Check the environment
of the wireless mounting
base ASD 20 for
changes/interference
(metal cabinets, furni-
ture/walls repositioned).
A short tone sounds and
the LED flashes every
48 seconds at the heat
detector AHD
Battery empty
Replace the sensor
head heat alarm AHD.
When this acoustic sig-
nal starts, the heat
detector AHD can be
operated for another
30 days or 4 minutes in
the case of an alarm.
