Before the installation,
calculate the amount of AFM

laterals and make sure they
are not damaged.
Half fill the filter with water
and fill up with AFM

After installation, let AFM

soak to get it wet or run pool
equipment on “filtration” for
>24 hours to wet AFM
®
Do not backwash AFM
®
for a
minimum of 24 hours after the
first installation. During the pool
season, backwash filter at least
once a week for 3 to 5 minutes.
