IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• To prevent damage, remove all packaging from the humidifier prior to starting the unit .
• Only operate the humidifier when it is fully assembled .
• Connect the humidifier’s power cord into a 120 VAC power source only .
• Always supervise children when they are around the humidifier; never let them operate the
unit .
• Never use the humidifier if there is damage to the appliance or to the power cord .
• Repairs of the humidifier to be made by authorized service personnel only .
• Place the humidifier on a dry, elevated and level surface where it cannot be knocked over .
• Do not place the humidifier directly on the floor .
• Do not clean the humidifier with detergents or chemical solutions .
• Always unplug the humidifier prior to removing, filling or emptying the water reservoir and
before cleaning and maintenance of the humidifier .
• Never insert foreign objects into the air inlet or exhaust outlets on the humidifier, as this can
cause electric shock or damage to the humidifier .
• Do not scrape the transducer or clean it with detergents or chemical solutions .
• Do not submerge the main body of the humidifier in water or any other liquid .
• Do not use the humidifier in an environment where there are combustible gases or vapors .
• Do not use the humidifier near water, in a bathroom or in a damp location .
• Do not touch the water in the base of the humidifier while it is operating .
• Do not pour water into the mist outlet on the top of the humidifier .
• Never pull the power cord from the wall outlet, by the cable or with wet hands .
• Always unplug the humidifier when it is not in use .
• Use in the direct sunlight should be avoided .
• Only use clean, cold water in the humidifier .
• Store the humidifier in a dry, cool place away from high temperatures .
