2.2.1 Wire AC mains power and initial start-up.
Remove the front cover and also remove the mains AC power box cover. Then feed the mains power
cable through the gland on the bottom floor of the AQM 65 as shown in Figure 2-2.

Pull the 12 VDC fuse out from the fuse holder “off position” before testing the mains connection.

When you apply mains AC power (and with the 12 DC fuse in the “off” position) you should hear the
internal fan (blower) start up and begin circulating air inside the box. Air will come out from the top
vent as shown in the image on the right in Figure 2-4
Nothing else should be on.
IMPORTANT!
If you wish to test 12 DC power to the rest of the AQM 65 now, then you should remove the power
connection to the PM electronics module, otherwise you could damage the optical engine. Pull the
power connection out from the PM pump module as shown in Figure 2-3 on the left.
