Driver Seat
Use cyano in this step.
Trim foam parts 30 and 31 to fit mahogany parts 30 and 31. Make 2 to 3
mm wide cutouts where the seams are located. Tack-glue foam parts to
mahogany parts. To imitate seams, apply glue into cutouts, position cover
material over foam parts and press down along the seams with screwdriver,
knife back or similar.
When glue has dried, apply glue to the circumference of seat backrest and
glue cover material in place: glue straight edges first and glue rounded
contours when straight edges are in place.
Use a craft knife to cut off excess material.

Steering Wheel and Instrument Panel
Glue instruments 35 from decals set to the back of
instrument panel 36 (photo etched part). Insert brass tube 34
in instrument panel 36 and through cockpit parts 22 and 29.
Slide parts 38 and 43 over steering shaft 41 and solder or
glue flush with end of steering shaft.
Round off inside of mahogany steering wheel parts 39 while
parts are still fixed in laser cut panel, then remove from
panel. Glue parts 39 to front and back of photo etched
steering wheel 43. Round off perimeter of steering wheel,
then apply clear varnish.
Glue photo etched part 37 to instrument panel 36 and glue
steering shaft cover 40 to end of steering shaft. Insert
steering shaft into brass tube 34 and secure with collar 42.
Add a small amount of epoxy glue into
front opening of exhaust pipes 61 and
insert exhaust manifolds into holes in
hood. Add glue to the tabs of exhaust
manifolds and brackets, then place
hood on hull. Check for correct
alignment and secure with tape.
When glue has cured remove hood
and remove cling film and tape.
Exhaust System
Protect coaming and mahogany deck with cling film or
tape.
Place hood on coaming and check for proper fit.
Slide brackets 62 and 63 onto exhaust pipes 61 and attach
to exhaust manifolds. Please note that mounting flange on
rear exhaust pipe brackets is longer than on front exhaust
pipe brackets.
Also note that tabs on front exhaust pipe brackets may
need to be shortened.

Throttle Lever
Bend slotted photo etched part 46 along etched
lines to fit part 47 and solder or glue together on
the inside. Bend upper portion of throttle lever 48
to form a handle and glue in place.
Glue assembly to left or right inner cockpit wall.
Windshield
Glue photo etched frame 44 to windshield 45. Drill a 1.5 mm hole 10 mm in front of the cockpit opening into
hood and enlarge hole to accept the frame´s tab. Tilt the windshield approximately 25° to the rear.
Secure windshield from inside of hood with 5 minute epoxy.
Photo Etched Parts
Glue remaining photo etched parts to the model
as shown on the drawing. To prevent injuries put a
drop of epoxy glue on the manta´s tail end before
you attach the emblem to the model.
Bend the short end of the hood latches 49 180°,
form latches to fit the hood outline and glue in
place.
Bend the air intake grille to fit the hood front and
glue in place. Glue trim strips 50 and 51 around
the nose of the model, starting from the center of
the nose.
