CHECKS TO BE CARRIED OUT AFTER
INSTALLATION
ITEMS TO CHECK POSSIBLE ANOMALY SITUATION
Is the unit firmly fixed? The unit could fall, vibrate or generate
noise.
Has a check been made for refrigerant
leaks? Poor performance.
Is the thermal insulation sufficient? It could produce condensate and lead to
dripping water.
Does the unit drain the condensate water
properly? It could produce condensate and lead to
dripping water.
Does the power supply voltage
correspond to the value indicated on
the label? Electrical operating fault, or damage to
components which could blow.
Have the cables and pipes been correctly
and safely connected? Electrical operating fault, or damage to
components which could blow.
Has the unit been properly earthed? Risk of electrocution. Damage to
components.
Do the section and type of electric cables
respect the indications given in the
manual? Possible electrical operating faults, or
damage to components which could
blow.
Are the air supply and delivery points
on the indoor and outdoor units free of
obstacles? Poor performance.
Have the connection pipe length and
refrigerant load been recorded? Poor performance. Impossible to check
the amount of refrigerant added.
Has all the equipment used for installation
been removed? Possible malfunctioning or damage to
parts.
Has the dust and residue been removed? Possible malfunctioning or damage to
parts.
Are the gas and liquid valves of the
connection pipe fully open? May cause insufficient heating or cooling.
Are the pipe hole inlet and outlet
correctly insulated? Possible malfunctioning or damage to
parts.
