Cleaning the Filters

When Should Filters Be Replaced?
When the air sanitizer is used regularly, it is
recommended that the two 2-in-1 fi lter #2 (Activated
HEPA13) be replaced every 6 months.
New fi lters may be needed earlier if you notice an increased noise level
when the unit is on, when there is a considerable decrease in airfl ow,
unusual odors, or when the fi lters are visibly clogged.
To ensure that the fi lters perform at their highest effi ciency level, it is
vital that these be replaced at a timely manner.
It may however be necessary to replace fi lters earlier
than expected depending on where and how the air
sanitizer is used (ex. when used in an environment
with relatively high pollution).
Unless damaged, the pre-fi lter need not be replaced.
Use only genuine Aerione fi lter replacements to
ensure proper operation of your air sanitizer. Note:
• Filter #1: Pre-Filter (PN FLR_815A)
• Filter #2: Activated HEPA 13 Filter (PN FLR_815B)
Place in an open and ventilated area to allow
harmfull gases and germs to dissipate. Clean
only the activated carbon side (black side with
pull tab) with a vacuum cleaner.
Do not expose under too much sun. Do not
use water to clean.
Frequency: once every two months.
Clean the surface with a vacuum
cleaner or wash with water to
remove large particles like hair,
dander, dust, soot, and pollen
that may be entangled.
Frequency: twice per month.
