DYNAMIC RANGE
The requirement of a different dynamic range changes due to the room in which
you are and the personal taste. The high quality audio programs, as movies,
usually have a wide dynamic range. Compared to the dialogue the sound of an
explosion result to be 20dB higher, and the leaf whispering is 50 dB lower. In
some rooms it is necessary to decrease the volume of the strong sounds and
increase the volume of weak sounds. In order to maintain the original dynamic
range of the disc you may set Dynamic Range OFF. Otherwise set to FULL to
decrease the dynamic range by decreasing the level of strong sounds and
increasing the level of weak sounds.
DUAL MONO (LEFT + RIGHT)
DUAL MONO function has two mono channels in Dolby Digital. You may use it
mainly for the programs broadcasting in different languages. It works in the same
qay for TV and VCR which support a secondary audio program. From two MONO
channels, the audio is emitted in four possible different combinations: STEREO,
LEFT MONO, RIGHT MONO and MIXED MONO.
