What to do if ...
Remedying Faults
In the event of a fault, try to solve the problem yourself with the aid of
the information provided here. If you call Customer Service to deal
with one of the faults listed here or to remedy an operating fault, the
customer service technician's visit will not be free of charge, even dur-
ing the warranty period.

The mains plug is not inserted. Insert the mains plug.
The house fuse has blown.
Replace the fuse.
The door is not closed prop-
erly.
Close the door.

Press and hold the

(START/PAUSE) button until
the programme starts.
The door cannot be
closed.
The child safety feature is en-

Release child safety feature

4 times.
The door is not closed prop-
erly.
Close the door properly.
Start the programme again.

once.
The water tap is closed.
Open the water tap.
Start the programme again.
The filter in the socket of the
inlet hose is blocked.
Close the water tap.
Disconnect the hose from the
water tap, remove the filter
and clean under running wa-
ter.
Water tap is blocked with
limescale or is faulty.
Check the water tap and have
it repaired if necessary.
The indicator

(END) flashes
8 times.
The programme selector has
not clicked into place cor-
rectly.
First turn the programme se-
lector to

(OFF), then set the
desired programme to the ex-
act position.
