Tuning in to Stations
1. Press the TUNER button to select the desired fre-
quency range (AM or FM).
2. With the help of the UP or DOWN button it is pos-
sible to search for radio stations (the display must
be set to the transmitting frequency beforehand by
means of the PRE/TUN button). Each time the button
is pressed the frequency changes. As soon as the
signal of a radio station is received, this appears in
the display.
3. A faster way to fi nd radio stations is to press the UP
or DOWN button for two seconds. The device then
starts the automatic station search. As soon as a
station has been found the automatic station search
stops.
4. To store a station, press the MEMO button. The
storage location number appears in the display for
four seconds. If the MEMO button is pressed again,
the station is stored.

5. In order to reduce any interference while an FM
stereo programme is being received, press the
FM/Mode button. The word STEREO disappears
from the display. The programme is now played back
in MONO to reduce interference. To return to stereo
playback, press the FM MODE button again.
Automatic Search
The device can store up to 50 different AM/FM radio
stations.
1. Press the AUTO button. The word AUTO appears
in the display and the automatic search function is
started.
2. The stations are stored in ascending order. Up to 50
stations are stored. As soon as a station has been
stored, the storage number and station frequency
appear in the display for four seconds.
3. When 50 stations (AM or FM) have been stored it is
not possible to store any further stations.
Playing back preset Stations
1. Press the TUNER button to select the desired fre-
quency range.
2. Then press the PRE/TUN button to show the station
storage locations in the display.
3. Using the number buttons it is now possible to select
the desired station storage location number. For ex-
ample: In order to play back the station stored under
#5, simply press button number 5; station #17 can be
listened to by pressing button number 1 followed by
button number 7.
4. The stations stored using the storage function can
also be listened to by pressing the UP or DOWN
button.

Operation:
Press the RDS button during playback of an RDS station
in order to select the RDS information.
