Before Using for the First Time
Initial Cleaning
0 Wipe the ceramic glass cooking surface with a damp cloth to remove
any traces left from manufacturing.

Important: Do not use any caustic, abrasive cleaners! The surface could
be damaged.
Using the Cooking Zones

When the cooking zones are switched on, they may hum briefly. This is
a characteristic of all ceramic glass cooking zones and does not impair
either the function or the life of the appliance.

The zones are operated using the knobs on the cooker or with
using the knobs on the panel, operation is described in the respec-
tive instruction manuals.
Halogen Cooking Zone
Full heating capacity is reached after only a few seconds with the
halogen cooking zone.

First place the pot(s) on the hob and then switch on with the hob
switch.

Caution: Never look directly into the halogen light – it dazzles.
