Chapter 4 Drivers Installation

The servers support several Operating Systems

including Microsoft Windows NT 4.0/ 2000, Linux 7.x, Free

BSD 4.x and Solaris 8.x. If user likes to install Solaris OS in

the machine, please download drivers from the website

http://access1.sun.com/patch.public/cgi-bin/show_list.cgi/un

b/Solaris_x86_Intel_Drivers

.

The server provides an optional zero-channel

hardware RAID module that can support RAID 0, 1 and 5.

Current available drivers for RAID module only support

Windows 2000/NT 4.0 and Linux Red-Hat 7.0/7.1. Once the

drivers for other OS are available, they will be uploaded to

our website.
