7.2.1 Installation for Windows 98/NT/ME/2000
Upon installing on Windows 98, the system will automatically detect the
Ethernet hardware and install the Ethernet driver. It is recommended that
you upgrade to the Intel driver as following :
1.
a Select "Start", "Settings", "Control Panel", "System"
b. Click "Device Manager" and highlight "PCI Ethernet Controller"
c. Select "Properties"
2. Choose "Driver" folder
3. Click "Update Driver"
4. a. Follow the instructions
b. Click "Next"
5. Choose "search for a better driver than the one your device is using
now[Recommended] ", Click "Next"
6. Select "CD-ROM drive", click "Next" to proceed
7. Choose Drive "d", click "OK" to proceed
8. Insert Windows98 Disk, click "Finish" to finish the installation
7.2.2 Installation for Windows 2000/ME/XP
After finishing the Windows 2000/XP installation, the system will auto-
matically detect the Ethernet hardware and install the Ethernet driver
from the drivers database from Windows 2000, Windows XP when the
system reboots.
It is recommended that you upgrade to the Intel driver provided with the
CD. To upgrade the driver, path : D:\PPC-S154\Intel Lan 6.2\setup.exe
