3.1 Regular Use
Below are instructions for maintaining a healthy battery:
1. Always fully charge new batteries before first use.
2. When the battery capacity is at 0%, the POC-IPSM90PS power system will dis-
play a low-battery alert (see Figure 3.1). At this point, either replace the battery
with a fully charged battery or plug in the power adaptor to recharge the battery.

3. If the battery over-discharges, shutting down the POC terminal or connected
devices, the battery must be fully recharged within 48 hours (2 days) to maintain
the battery life.
4. If the POC-IPSM90PS power system is not in use, turn off the system to save
battery power. To turn off the system, simply press the Power On/Off button
(circled in red below). Ensure that the system is powered off by checking that
the green LED indicator is off.
