To facilitate the installation of the SATA drive support from HPC-8316 HBA for TE and
TA versions, read the instructions in this chapter carefully. The drivers for the HPC-
8316 HBA are located on the software installation CD.

5.2 Introduction

HPC-8316 TE and TA version is default bundled a SATA HBA which is designed by
Advantech and paired with 12 port SATA of TE and TA version. If driver isn't installed
properly, some of SATA would be not-functional, so please follow the instructions
below for driver installation:
HPC-8316 TE 及 TA 机种内建研华设计 SATA HBA 卡，主要是用于串接 TE 及 TA 机种的
12 port SATA 背板藉以提供 12 port SATA 硬盘插槽。如果 HBA 卡片的驱动程序没有安
装成功，部分的 SATA port 会没有功能，所以请参考以下步骤安装驱动程序：
