PERATION
4.1
Powering up/down the system
To power up the system, press the Power On/Standby button.
Before powering down the server for any upgrade or maintenance procedures, perform a backup of critical
system data and programs.
To power down the system, use one of the following methods:
• Press and release the Power On/Standby button.
This method initiates a controlled shutdown of applications and the OS before the server enters standby
mode.
• Press and hold the Power On/Standby button for more than 4 seconds to force the server to enter standby
mode. This method forces the server to enter standby mode without properly exiting applications and the
OS. If an application stops responding, you can use this method to force a shutdown.
4.2
Booting from network via PXE
To boot an OS via network, please make sure the following BIOS options In the Advanced: Network Stack
Configuration Menu are configured properly:
Network Stack
Enabled
Enables the UEFI Network Stack.
IPv4 PXE Support
Enabled
Disabled
Enabled if PXE booting in an IPv4 network;
disabled otherwise

Below are the steps to enable PXE boot.
