4.1.5 DHCP STATIC LEASED (STATIC DHCP)
EKI-6310GN provides a solution to this mess: static DHCP, also known as DHCP res-
ervation. While configuring your router for DHCP, you have the ability to enter the
MAC addresses of Client and enter which IP address to assign them. EKI-6310GN
will automatically take care of rest.

MAC Address : Enter the MAC address of client.
IP Address : Assign them an IP address. You won't be able to add the same IP
address to two different MAC addresses, so make sure each MAC has a unique IP.
4.2 Bridge
You can configure the LAN in your network settings when you use EKI-6310GN as
bridge.
4.2.1 LAN

IP Address : Sets the static IP address for your LAN interface.
Subnet Mask : Sets the static IP subnet mask. (Default: 255.255.255.0)
MTU : Maximum transmission unit (MTU) is the largest protocol data unit that the
layer can pass onwards. You need to configure this parameter based on your net-
working.
