AWS-8259 User's Manual

General features

Efficiency:

65% typical when measured at nominal input and rated load.

Input protection:

Protection against wrong polarity if the +24 V input voltage is mistaken-
ly reversed.

Output protection:

If for some reason the power supply fails to control itself, the built-in
over-voltage protection circuit will shut down the outputs to prevent dam-
age to external circuits. The trip point of the crowbar circuit is approxi-
mately 5.7 ~ 7.0 V.
