Batteries Cont’d and Choosing Domes
Low Battery Warning
When the battery life is expiring, you hear a low battery
warning (one short beep). This warning will continue
intermittently until you replace the old battery with a fresh
new one. After the first warning, it is normal to experience
some reduction in sound quality.
Choosing The Correct Dome
Your HearClear™ HC64 comes with Mushroom Style Domes
in different sizes. This allows you to select the dome that
provides you with maximum comfort and hearing.
Mushroom Style Domes
Mushroom domes are intended for people
with significant to severe losses or people
that need a better low frequency response.
These domes are specifically designed to
function with the thick tube and ear hook.
These domes are exclusive for thick tubes
and will not work with thin tubes. This
style comes in three different sizes (9mm,
12mm, 14mm).
Helpful Tip: Try a different size dome to avoid
whistling and/or feedback when the volume is at
higher settings.
