Dial Plan Terminal Menu
OVERVIEW
The Dial Plan submenus (see Figure 9-1) set global ATLAS switch parame-
ters as well as individual parameters for each ATLAS port handling a
switched call. The individual ports are separated into two port types: net-
work and user. Network ports terminate a connection from the Network.
User ports terminate incoming calls and, in turn, may be connected to user
equipment. Creating Dial Plans—Examples on page 9-19 provides clarification
for these two port types. (See also Figure 9-2 for the complete menu struc-
ture.)

In the menus described in the following sections, Incoming Calls refers
to calls coming to ATLAS from the Network (PSTN) and Outgoing
Calls refers to calls directed toward the Network (PSTN).
