Terminal Modes Menu
The Terminal Modes menu, illustrated in
, provides the ability to select the T200
HTU-R, SP/60 mA terminal emulation mode. The HTU-R includes two terminal emulation
modes as described on the Terminal Modes menu. The Manual Update Mode (default) allows
the user to manually update the provisioning option screens. This mode provides efficient
print screen and log file utilities for storage of key provisioning parameters, alarm or perfor-
mance history and current system status. By tapping the space bar three times, the screen
will be refreshed and will reflect the most current circuit conditions and provisioning options.
The second terminal emulation mode is the Real- Time Update Mode (VT100). This mode
provides real-time updating of HDSL circuit conditions and provisioning options as changes
occur. While in Real-Time Update mode, the unit is anticipating baud poll responses from the
terminal. If a terminal response is not detected (i.e., terminal is disconnected), the unit will
revert back to the Manual Update Mode (default).
