Chapter 6

Configuring Network Options

NETWORK OPTIONS

The

ETWORK

PTIONS

configuration parameters control the loop opera-

tion of the DSU III TDM.

Once a parameter is set,

OMMAND

CCEPTED

is displayed briefly before

returning to the active menu.

Loop Rate

The

OOP

ATE

option sets the loop operating speed. The unit should be

set to the rate required by the DDS.

The DSU III TDM supports loop rates of 56 and 64 kbps (shown in Figure
6-1). The default factory setting is 56 kbps.
