3 Local Menu Operations

Note:

•

After successful connection, the WIFI connection icon appears at the top right corner of the
preview interface.

•

When the hotspot verification type is WEP, status displays as AUTO since the device cannot
detect the encryption type.

•

The system does not support verification type WPA and WPA2. The display may become
abnormal for the verification type and encryption type.

•

After the device successfully connects to the WIFI, you can view the hotspot name, IP
address, subnet mask, and default gateway in the WIFI Setting interface.

This feature is not supported by ADT.

3.3.5

PPPoE

The PPPoE (Point to Point Protocol over Ethernet) dialog is shown in Figure 3-16.

To set up the PPPoE feature:

1.

Input the User Name and Password you received from your Internet service provider (ISP).

2.

Click the

OK

button.

3.

Reboot the system to activate your configuration.

After rebooting, the NVR connects to Internet automatically. The IP in the PPPoE is the NVR dynamic
value. You can access this IP to access the unit.
