DVR Overview

This chapter provides information about front panel and rear panel. Refer to this section first when
installing the Hybrid DVR.

1.1

Front Panel

The front panel is shown in the following figure.

Figure 1-1

Press and hold for three seconds to power up or shut down

the DVR.

(Outer Ring)

Shuttle.

In Real-time Monitor mode, this serves as a left/right direction key.

In Playback mode, turn counter clockwise to play forward and clock wise to

play backward.

(Inner Dial)

Jog.

In Real-time Monitor mode, this serves as an up/down direction key.

In Playback mode, turn the inner dial to initiate frame-by-frame playback.

(Not available in all models.)

Fast Play.

Press to toggle between normal playback and various fast play

speeds.

Slow Play.

Press to toggle between normal playback and various slow play

speeds.

Play / Pause.

Press to toggle between normal playback and pause playback

modes.

Reverse / Pause.

Press to toggle between reverse playback and pause

playback modes.

Play Previous.

In playback mode, press to playback the previous video.

Play Next.

In playback mode, press to playback the next video.

In menu setup, press to move downward on the dropdown list.

0-9

A-Z

Alpha Numeric Characters

. Press to input a number 0-9, upper case letter

or lower case letter, using the Shift key to toggle between character types.



Shift.

Press to toggle between numbers, lower case letters and upper case
