a.
Place the blade holder (if supplied) over the end of the spindle.
b.
Pull back the release ring.
c.
Repeat the both steps for the second blade.
5.
Replace the holding nut and tighten using the torque wrench (until
you hear a click).
6.
Close the cooling block and tighten the screw.
Note:
At this stage, all the system utilities must be connected. Compressed
air and spindle cooling water must be supplied.
7.
In the Define Blade window, press
Next
; the Step 2 of 2: Tune BBD
window appears.
8.
If the system is equipped with a BBD, perform step 9.
9.
Tune the BBD:
a.
Slightly release the BBD securing screw of the BBD that you
want to tune.

Slowly shift the BBD until the BBD(%) reading of the target BBD
(front or rear) registers approximately 15%.

Tighten the BBD securing screw.
d.

c. for the second BBD.
e.
Press
Finish
; the Dice window regains focus and the system
performs initialization. The spindles begin to revolve and the
system performs a Height procedure.
Note:
The BBD threshold bar is pre-set with a 50% default value. Setting the
threshold to a lower value causes the BBD to be more sensitive; setting it to a
higher value causes it to be less sensitive.
