4. Patch Bay
An integrated patch bay is available for all versions of the 5MT audio
console system. The standard patch bay uses platic molded, gold plated
TT jacks. Full metal jacks are available on special order as well.
The patch offers 8 jacks per input channel, all necessary inputs and
outputs of the master section and 60 tie jacks, wired to 25-pin D-sub
connectors. More tie jacks
can be added in blocks of
80 jacks.
Channel Patch Bay
The channel patch bay
is identical for all input
module slots in the fra-
me. The 8 jacks per chan-
nel are half normalized in
blocks of 2.
MT-RET:
This is the output of the
DAW system, connected
directly from the 25-pin
D-sub ‚from DAW‘ on the
channel connector panel
to this jack
TAPE IN:
This is the ‚TAPE‘ input
of the channel. It is half
normalized to the MT-RET
jack. If no patch cords are
installed, the tape input is
fed from the MT-RET (mul-
titrack return) input.
