The manufacturer hereby declares that this device has been marked with the CE
mark in accordance with the basic requirements and other relevant conditions of

The product is a class B device. Class B may cause interference when used in
residential environments.
National restrictions:
This device is a class 2 device that must comply with national restrictions for
operation in the individual EU countries (and other countries that comply with EU
Directive 1999/5/EC).
A corresponding EC conformity declaration is available for competent authorities
at the manufacturer and can be viewed upon request.
2.1 Scope of delivery
Check the contents of the package for completeness and for any damages:
• 1 x device
• 1 x power adapter 20 VDC
• 2 x stick-style battery
• 1 x Quick Start Guide

• TT13 accessories acc. to delivery note
2.2 Interfaces
All available interfaces are located on the side of the device. They are protected by
a rubber cover.
ATTENTION
Breaching of IP protection
IP protection is no longer provided if the rubber covers
are open.
Only open the rubber covers when using the
interfaces
2.3 Battery charge state
Check the charge state of the batteries with the "Test Power" button before
you insert them into the battery slots. If there is a low charge capacity (only
the red LED illuminates), the provided power adapter is also to be
connected. The batteries are charged automatically as soon as the device is
connected to mains.
3.1 ON/OFF pushbutton
Press the ON/OFF pushbutton until the device starts.
3.2 Operating system activation
Depending on the respective installed operating system, activation takes place
automatically or must be performed manually.
Recommendation for use:
Beginning with Windows 8.1 Industry Pro, activation
takes place automatically.
All previous operating systems, such as
Windows 7 or Windows XP, must be activated
manually.
4.1 Configuration Center
If there is a preinstalled operating system on your device ex works, ads-tec provides software
modules. These software modules are specially matched to the respective device and can be
called up in the Configuration Center.

4.2 WLAN/Bluetooth
The device is equipped with a wireless LAN/Bluetooth card and can be wirelessly integrated in
any IT infrastructure.
Recommendation for use:
The wireless card supports the following standards:
Wireless LAN 802.11 a/g/n
Bluetooth 4.0 Standard Class1 / Class2
4.3 UMTS/LTE (optional)
The device is equipped with a mobile communications module and is able to communicate
with the Internet even without a WLAN infrastructure.
Recommendation for use:
The mobile communications module supports the
following standards:
UMTS (3G)/LTE (4G)
