ADPRO VM22A, Issue 6

Audio Inputs
10 audio inputs.
Selectable (as a group) for either microphone or line input
level via an external switch (SW2).
•
Microphone: Balanced, Impedance
3000 ohms,
Signal Level Range = 0.1mV RMS to 10mV RMS.
•
Line input: Unbalanced,
Impedance
3000
ohms, Signal Level Range = 10mV RMS to 400mV
RMS.
An external switch (SW4) enables the audio input
corresponding to the currently displayed video camera, or
permanently enables the Channel 1 input to be routed to
the Fast Scan independently of the channel selected.
2x 15-way screw terminal connections.
Automatic Gain
AGC is provided and can be enabled or disabled via
Control (AGC)
an external switch (SW1).
When enabled, AGC is applied to the active mic/line input
and provides at least 50dB of dynamic level control.
When disabled, the mic/line input levels are controlled via
individual Input Level potentiometers on the front panel of
the VM22A.
Audio Output
10 audio outputs. Unbalanced, Impedance =
00 ohms,
Nominal Voltage = 315mV RMS. Individual volume
potentiometers on the front panel provide level adjustment.
2x 10-way screw terminal connections.
Speaker Amplifier
A maximum output voltage swing of 8 V peak to peak
Interface
into an 8 ohm load or 1 Watt rms (with a nominal 12 V
supply). When higher power is required, the speaker
amplifier can be used to drive an external amplifier via the
PWR AMP OUT connection.
Output Switcher
The VM22A contains a 10 channel balanced input/
balanced output switcher that can switch the output of the
internal speaker amplifier or external power amplifier as
required. The VM22A is capable of switching up to 4 Watts
(rms) into an 8 ohm load.
NOTE
The output switcher has a current limit of 700mA (rms)
maximum. The maximum voltage that can be applied to
the input of the VM22A is 30Vrms.
