Defining
the Screen Cable Routing
Once you have added the desired panel array, it is time to
define
the cable
routing. This is an imperative step to ensure the image is displayed
correctly on the screen. If the cable routing is not
configured
properly, the
image will appear on incorrect panels.
To
define
the cabling route of the panels, simply click the
fi
rst panel in the
chain, and drag the mouse in the order the panels are cabled. If the
panels are spread across multiple ports, you should perform this process
on a per port basis, for example, cable the panels on the
fi
rst port, then
click the second port and repeat the process until everything is
defined.
To temporarily send the layout
configuration
to the panels, click the “Send
to HW” button and then if you are happy that the layout is correct, you can
press “Save”.
Once you press the main “Save” button, the software will send all of the
new
configuration
options to the panels, and this will be stored in the
panels
fl
ash memory, meaning once the
configuration
is complete, the
configuration
computer with the NovaStar Application on, can be removed.
Although, it is good practice to keep the computer close to the screen
setup in case there is a need to change the
configuration.
Once you press the Save key, it will take a few moments to transmit
the new data to the panels.
