In the field “
Swap
” the bytes’ order is reversed;
In the field “
Conv Int
” the data from HART device is converted in Integer format;
In the field “
Operations
” a post-operation on the data read is defined;
In the field “
Mnemonic
” a description of the variable is defined.
Note:
In order to configure the HART devices and their variables, it is possible to scan the HART network and get the data automatically. It
is enough to click on “Scan” button. See page 23 for more info.
PROFIBUS GSD:
By pressing the “
PROFIBUS GSD
” button it is possible to save the GSD file for the PROFIBUS side.
With this feature you can save the configuration of the converter of the PROFIBUS side.
Note:
When you import the .gsd file on your Master PROFIBUS you have to add all the modules that are present inside it.
