CARE AND CLEANING
Disconnect the kettle from mains power and ensure it has •
cooled before cleaning it.
Main body
Wipe the main body clean with a slightly damp cloth. •
Dry thoroughly before use. •
Never clean the kettle with scourers, abrasive pads or
chemicals.
De-scaling
In hard water areas, lime-scale deposits may appear on the
inside surface of the kettle. These can be removed by regular
use of de-scaling products.
Follow the maker’s instructions to make and use the de- •
scaler.
Clean the body of the kettle after de-scaling to remove any
•
trace of de-scaler.
Cleaning the filter
A mesh filter is located inside the spout to trap loose limescale
particles. This should be cleaned regularly if limescale collects
on the filter surface.
Locate the filter inside the kettle, just behind the spout. •
Press the top of the filter away from the body of the kettle. •
The filter will unclip.
Lift the filter from the kettle. •
Rinse the filter in warm water and brush it if necessary to •
remove any limescale deposits.
To re-fit the filter, fit the tip of the filter into the tag below the
•
spout.
Clip the top of the filter back into place.
