RESETTING THE SCALE
Reset the scale to its default settings if unusual or obviously incorrect values are shown on
the display.
1. Remove the batteries and wait a moment.
2.
Re-insert the batteries and replace the battery compartment cover.
After switching on the scale, you can start weighing as usual.
CLEANING
DANGER of electric shock (only when using the mains adaptor)
− Remove the mains adaptor from the connection socket.
NOTE on material damage

Do not immerse the scale in water or other liquids.
− Do not under any circumstances use harsh, scouring or abrasive cleaning
agents or the like to clean the scale. Otherwise, the surface could be
scratched.
The scale should be cleaned immediately after use, especially after its contact with fat,
spices, vinegar, and other strongly flavoured and/or coloured foodstuffs.
− Wipe the scale as needed with a slightly damp soft cloth. Avoid contact with citric
acid.

Proceed as described under “Resetting the
scale”.
“Err” is shown on the display.

The maximum capacity of the scale (5 kg) has
been exceeded.
“Lo” is shown on the display.
‚
The batteries are empty, see “Changing the
battery”.
