Preparing the device
Risk of burns, scalds and fire

Do not touch the hot surfaces of the device. Pay particular attention
when you open the hot housing cover and when the device is open.

Do not leave the waffle iron unattended when it is heating up or still
cooling down or during operation.
During use, the indicator light goes on and off repeatedly and clicking
noises can be heard. This is normal and indicates that the device is always
heating up automatically.
1. Insert the plates provided for your intended purpose, see “Removing/inserting
plates”.
2. Close the device.

3. Unwind the power cord completely and insert the power plug into a mains outlet.
The indicator light turns orange; the device is now heating up.
After approx. 3 minutes the indicator light will go out and the device is ready to use.
Preparing toasted sandwiches
If possible, use normal slices of bread or toasting bread, as this bread is a
good fit for the shape of the plate.
